Collaborative Best Practices
Ideal for commercial office and retail tenants who have a master service agreement with an out-of-province designer. The design may require an Ontario architect for permitting a particular architectural scope of work and general review. I can be engaged directly by the tenant or as a sub-consultant to the designer.
AOR services are particularly attractive to US-based designers with a project in Ontario. I understand the nuances and best practices of architecture in Canada and the United States. My early career experience was in Chicago. I am a licensed architect in the states of Illinois and Florida, and I have an NCARB Certificate. Since coming to Canada, I have served as the AOR on over 40 projects in collaboration with US-based designers.
In 2024, I was recognized by the Architizer A+Awards with a Special Mention in the category of, “Best Sole Practitioner”; and again in 2025 in the category of, "Best Micro Firm". My submissions focused on collaborative projects as AOR. Notably included was the new storefront façade renovation for luxury jeweler, Van Cleef & Arpels at 100 Bloor Street West in Toronto.
