Professional Leadership
Nicholas Jay Architect is licensed to practice architecture in the home jurisdiction of Ontario; and in the United States of Florida and Illinois.
Nicholas is also the holder of an NCARB Certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. This credential demonstrates he has met national standards for licensure across North America.
Nicholas volunteered for six years at the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) as a member of the Complaints Committee, which investigates allegations of professional misconduct. At present, he serves as an OAA Mentor for multiple intern architects on their path towards licensure.
Nicholas Jay Architect is recognized globally by the Architizer A+Awards with a Special Mention in the category of, “Best Sole Practitioner” (2024) and, "Best Micro Firm (1-2 employees)" (2025).
